Deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mame Yaa Aboagye has advised the Running Mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang to focus on her campaign than her quest to debate Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to her, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the best and most intelligent politician in Ghana on economic matters.

 Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang announced her readiness to debate Dr. Bawumia in an interview on GhOne TV.

Responding to questions on whether she wants the debate, Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang said; “Why not? And if he debates on the economy, I will debate him on literature”.

Mame Yaa wonders if a debate is the only alternative the NDC has for Ghanaians to make a decision in the upcoming 2020 elections.

“Madam, you cannot debate Dr. Bawumia. You are a Professor but you do not come close to his intelligence and knowledge. Please don’t go there because I know he will disgrace you.

“Do your campaign in peace because debate doesn’t win elections but rather your achievements. President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia are busy delivering on their promises and have no time to debate'', Mame Yaa stated.

“You have already conceded the defeat to Dr. Bawumia as the master of economy. Bawumia is peerless when it comes to economic issues because through his able leadership with President Akufo-Addo, Ghana is now digitized'', she added.
