The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asokwa Constituency seems to have taken the electoral campaign to a different level.

The party has engaged the services of some beautiful ladies, who have now taken the lead in the campaign for votes for the party in the constituency.

These ladies are clad in the red, white, and blue colors of the ruling political party and they are strategically stationed at vantage points in the constituency.

The beautiful ladies could be seen holding mini-campaign posters of President Nana Akufo-Addo, which they proudly display to the public.

Some of these ladies also display the campaign posters of the sitting Asokwa Member of Parliament (MP), Madam Patricia Appiagyei, to catch the attention of the people.

Edmund Kyei aka ‘Edmundo’, the Asokwa Constituency NPP First Vice Chairman, is the brain behind this extraordinary campaign strategy for the NPP.

In a chat with THE NEW PUBLISHER, he said he has been using his own resources to engage the beautiful ladies to stand on roadsides to campaign for the NPP.

According to him, the outbreak of the deadly COVID-19 has changed the normal campaign strategies such as big rallies and others “so we should be creative now”.

Edmund said the beautiful ladies would henceforth be positioned at vantage points in the constituency in order to send the party’s message to the people.

He said the new campaign strategy was his widow’s mite to help renew the mandate of President Nana Akufo-Addo, saying “we shall move to another constituency soon”.
