The former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Koku Anyidoho has been suspended from the party pending the hearing and final determination of petitions against his conduct in the party.
According to a letter signed by the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, two separate petitions from two registered members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have lodged an official complaint against the conduct of Koku Anyidoho which in their view is a breach of the party’s disciplinary code for its members as contained in the NDC Constitution.
In the copy of the suspension letter of Koku Anyidoho to Peacefmonline.com indicates that the petitioners are Mr Mobarak Abdul-Karim (Oti Regional Communication Officer), and Eric Adjei (Bono Regional Deputy Communication Officer).
At the end of the deliberations at the party’s meeting on the 20th January 2021, the party has taken decisions in accordance with the articles 46(1), 46(6) and 46(8)(b) of the party’s constitution that with immediate effect the membership of Koku Anyidoho in the NDC is suspended.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) again has resolved that the petition against Koku Anyidoho has been referred to the party’s disciplinary committee for further action to be taken against the CEO of Atta Mills Institute.
