Kwaku Manu Apologizes To Funny Face's Family

Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu has rendered an apology to the family of comedian Funny Face after the family's bitter complaints about him.

Funny Face's family have vented their spleen on Kwaku Manu for posting videos and pictures of his visit to their relative who is currently admitted in a pyschiatric hospital following a court order.

The Ofankor Circuit Court presided over by his Honour Ebenezer Osei Darko ordered Ghana Police to send Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for two weeks.

Funny Face was arrested twice by the Police after he fired gunshots at a bar in his residential area, Kasoa in the Central Region.

The 'Cow and Chicken' actor cum comedian was in court for ''unlawful discharge of firearm'' and referred to the hospital for pyschotherapy.

Following his admission, Kwaku Manu and Funny Face's baby mama together with his kids visited him at the hospital but the family reunion didn't last.

The family is incensed with Kwaku Manu posting videos and pictures of the visit on social media.

Speaking in an interview with Peace FM's ''Entertainment Review'' host Akwasi Aboagye, Funny Face's sister named Lydia Boateng recounted that Kwaku Manu was directed by Funny Face's lawyer not to post videos and pictures on social media.

The family is furious with the actor saying he disobeyed the lawyer and has commercialized Funny Face's situation.

They threatened to report Kwaku Manu if he doesn't pull down the videos and pictures.

In a telephone interview on the entertainment programme, Kwaku Manu apologized for his wrongdoing.

"They should forgive me if I have offended them," he said.
