When an Accra Circuit Court sentenced actress Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo to her 90-day jail term in April this year, one of the major concerns was what would happen to her son Mudasir Muhammed Yakubu because she was the one taking care of him.
After enjoying some time with her son while out on bail pending the hearing of her appeal, on Wednesday, December 1, the High Court upheld the Circuit Court's ruling meaning Akuapem Poloo has to go back to jail and serve the rest of her sentence.
Most importantly, the court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey ordered that in the absence of Akuapem Poloo, Mudasir, who turned 8 this year, should be given to any competent person in the family to take care of.
Subsequently, the actress after the ruling took to her social media pages to express her unconditional love for her son urging him to be of good behavior while she is away.
In one post she wrote, “SON I LOVE YOU AND GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS YOU KNOW 💋💋💋💋💋💋BE GOOD TILL MUMMY COMES BACK 🙏 GOD IS IN CONTROL ALWAYS.”
In another she thanked her fans for the love, it read, “GOD I WILL STILL PRAISE YOUR NAME CUS YOU KNOW MY NAME AND YOU KNOW BEST 🙏 THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT ESPECIALLY THE MEDIA AND MY CELEBRITIES WHO CONTINUE TO SHOW ME LOVE AND SUPPORT AWW MY WONDERFUL FANS I LOVE YOU OKAY 💋💋💋💋💋💋 KISSES MUAH.”
