AFCON 2021 Qualifier: Black Stars To Play Next Competitive Game In March

Ghana's next competitive game will be in March against South Africa in Johannesburg as the team continues it's quest for another nations cup qualification.

The Black Stars had to wait till next year after a disappointing defeat to Sudan on Tuesday on matchday four of the AFCON qualifiers.

Ghana went into the game needing just a point to qualify for the competition in Cameroon 2022, but a last minute goal from Mohamed Abdelrahman secured all three points for Sudan.

The West Africans went into the game with several of their key players including Arsenal superstar Thomas Partey and captain Andre Ayew missing due to injuries.

With the next game in March, this should provide ample time for the injured stars to recover for the games against South Africa and Sao Tome.

The Black Stars will qualify for Cameroon 2022 when they pick a point against South Africa or beat Sao Tome in March at the Cape Coast stadium.

The four times African champions sit top of group C despite the defeat on Tuesday.
